Storage Metrics

The metrics can be largely grouped into two: Speed and Space.

Space as in disk space, is measured in bytes, such as gigabyte. Speed is measured in 2 ways (contention and utilization, and utilization is further divided into IOPS and Throughput. Throughput = IOPS x Block Size.
